Chess Max Academy is a state-of-the-art school utilizing the latest technology and teaching methods guided by an accomplished coach and Grandmaster Maxim Dlugy.
Working in groups to effectively learn while competing with peers is the proven method used by the Russian School of Chess and now offered only by Kasparov Foundation in his program for the ultra-talented youngsters who have achieved levels of roughly 2400.
GM Dlugy decided to offer this method of instruction to all young players who have the dedication and desire to study chess. This program seeks to complement any other chess study the child undertakes by putting them into a competitive setting where the desire to show your best will be cultivated.
Maxim Dlugy is a former US Junior Champion, World Junior Champion, 2 times National Open Champion, 2 times World Open Champion, and a Former President of the US Chess Federation. He has helped prepare both Garry Kasparov and Anatoly Karpov for major international events (including world chess championship matches), has an opening variation named after him and has many young students in the top 50 lists in the United States. His shows on ICC and chess.com has attracted a large following as he explains his thoughts during the games.
